A wonderful pay day find!

So on thursday night I had my nails done by a friend training to be a nail technician (she did a marvellous job, I'll post a picture with this blog post), it was the first time ever I have had nail extensions and I'm loving it! However this blog post is not about that! We were discussing many a things and nail varnish came up (of course seeing as we both love nail art) and how they should be scented and low and behold the very next day whilst pay day shopping I came across Models Own had done this very thing in fruity scents! Well I had to buy one! I also bought one for my friend too for her birthday.
I bought myself the Blueberry Muffin scent and I bought my friend the Banana Split scent.
I have to say I think nail varnishes having a scent is a marvellous idea and more companies should do this! (And I'm sure they will catch on or, if you guys know of any other companies who do scented nail vanishes/lacquers please let me know in the comments!)
So once my current nail design starts to chip I shall be testing and reviewing it so stay tuned!!!
Much loves!

DermOrganic quick review (not full thats to come soon)

So I washed my hair with the lovely DermOrganics shampoo that they sent me to try and the hair Masque also and I have to say my hair looks divine! It feels so nice too. The shampoo was strange as it didn't lather as much as my other shampoo (aussie color mate), but that may be my hair as it is so thick and long!
My mother ALSO stole some of the products and she too loves them. She says her hair feels so soft and has more volume!
So first try,so good!

THIS IS NOT MY FULL REVIEW!!! IT WAS JUST THAT GOOD I HAS TO POST A QUICK BLOG!

QVS Review

So the lovely people at QVS (http://www.qualityvaluestyle.com/) sent me some samples of their products to review.
It's been a few weeks since I received them and I have to say I love the products.
I received a set of two nail files, one side fine and one side medium.
These nail files are really good. However I am a bit heavy handed and the nail files are thin (great for getting into the tricky corners when filing long nails), so I felt like I was going to snap it.
My mother also pinched one of these files and loved them that much that she didn't give it back!!!
The next item I received was some gold plated slanted tip tweezers and these are fantastic! These are definitely a must have! They are great when plucking your eyebrows as the tweezers are slanted so you are not blocking your view in the mirror when plucking!
The tweezers are also fantastic at grabbing them pesky thin hairs as the grip on the tweezers is great! (they have even supplied info on the back of the packaging on upkeep of the tweezers).
The last thing I received was a travel sized cosmetic brush set!
This set included a lash and brow brush, blusher brush, eyeshadow applicator, lip liner brush, eyeshadow brush and finally a foundation sponge applicator (round one), the set is great and the blusher brush is so soft to touch and picks up the perfect amount of blusher to apply!
I normally don't use a sponge to apply my foundation but I thought I'd try this and it was great, the sponge was soft, it didn't soak in the foundation (remember to soak sponges in warm water first then rinse out the excess).
I have kept the set in the same packaging it came in as it is perfect for throwing it into your bag when you are on the move, it would of been great if it had a zip so you could seal the bag up again but alas I have had to leave it open!
All in all I have loved what they sent me and would definitely buy some of their stuff!!
Until next time!

WOW IT'S BEEN A WHILE/ANATOMICALS REVIEW

So I haven't posted in what seems like a year!! It was not intentional just had had a lot of things happening in the last month and seem to be getting ill a lot too :(....anyways here is the long due ANATOMICALS REVIEW!!!

So the lovely people at Anatomicals sent me some lovely stuff to sample and I have to say off the bat I love this company!!! The packaging is delightful and whimsical and just makes me laugh! The brand itself is VERY purse friendly and the stuff is fantastic.

When I first received my package i was not in and had to go to the local post office to pick it up......as soon as I got the package i wanted to rip it open then and there!!! It was so.....FUN and bright it made me feel like a kid at Christmas...

The products came in box totally covered in blue tape(which you can see a little of in these pictures) the blue tape had loads of writing on which I did try to read but there was so much it had overlapped and I unfortunately couldn't read it completely...each section had a different paragraph written on it from what I was able to read. The label that the had attached on the front with my name and address on also had a side section with the same type of humorous writing on... fortunately I did take a picture of that :).

So when I finally came home and opened my package I was pleased to see that the products had carried on in the same form of whimsical humour as the packaging...

The first thing I noticed was a day and night spot stick.
I was so happy to receive this as I suffer from spots due to my combo skin and due to this some face washes etc make me suffer random breakouts....(and at 22 it is horrible to have!)

So as you can see the whimsicalness (just created a new word woop woop!!) has carried on in the name.I tried this on straight away, it smells just like a normal facial anti-spot treatment (mint and tea tree). I found that the day side worked better for me than the night side.

I have taken pictures of the box as I find the small story about this product very funny so cuto's to ANATOMICALS for this. The second picture is of the ingredients in the two spot sticks.

The second thing I noticed was a lip balm this also had a very funny name.
The lip balm is a clear liquid and has a very faint sweet smell. I personally love this product. It goes on smooth, a little goes a long way and it is not very tacky. Afterwards it leaves your lips feel hydrated and soft.

The lip balm tube comes with a slanted applicator with a tiny hole in the middle. If you put too much pressure on the tube whilst applying too much can come out so it is best to put very slight pressure on when applying. You can always more but you can never take away!
I like this applicator, I don't know whether it was just how it felt on my lips or whether it does, but when I am applying this product it feels like it has a slight curve that fits perfectly around my lips!

Yet again this product has a very tongue in cheek blurb on the back. Some people may find these off putting but I think this is perfect marketing for a target audience.

The next item I received I was so happy to get. When Anatomicals said they were sending me some samples to try and review I had a look on their website and saw this and instantly fell in love with the name! So when I saw I had got the product I was so pleased.
May I introduce you tooo....

PUFFY THE EYE BAG SLAYER!!!!! I loved loved loved Buffy the vampire slayer (I love horrors and vampires).
As soon as I got this I showed it to my Mam and she thought it was a great name as well.
I use this whenever I am stressed (which is a lot when you have a younger sister who is near her teens!), The only thingI could fault with this product is that the elastic is a bit tight when I put it on...I wouldn't say I had a big head so I found this a little disappointing. The back of the box has the usual funny paragraph on the back as well.
I find I have to hide this as my sister tends to nick it....I may have to purchase one for her when it is Christmas as her birthday has passed.

The last beauty product I received from Anatomicals is a face mask that I have yet to use. I am saving this for a night out in May (going to see a band called Ashestoangels then having a night out.)

I was very pleased to receive this face mask. As mentioned earlier me and pimples seem to be acquainted with each other quite frequently. I will post a separate review on this when I use it :).

The back of the product yet again had me kinks.
I have to say Anatomicals are very very very very good on product branding and packaging.

I also received two non beauty related items as well which I think is very nice of them!
A cute little badge with Anatomicals' tag line which is on all their products.
''We Only Want You For Your Body''

I have called my Duck Fred, he squeaks, he's adorable and I love the people at ANATOMICALS for sending me him.

All in all I love this company and their products....They have so many other products which I cannot wait to buy and try.
If you guys are wondering where to find these awesome, funny named, purse friendly products you can click here >>>>ANATOMICALS<<<<<<<<<
This is their website... unfortunately you can't buy online but I am hoping that will change.
The website lists their products and also where you can buy them.
Luckily my Mam has found a few of their products in my local morrisons and has invested in some of their body washes and scrubs!

So give them a gander and let me know what you think in the comments!!!
